Site Update

This is Pouregon’s 100th post. As much as I would like to keep up four posts a day it is just a little too much to do by myself on a daily basis while keeping up with my real job. Starting today I will write at least one post a day and more when I … Read more

Tasting Room Advice

A friend is having a birthday party this weekend and a wine tasting is part of it.  I really wasn’t sure if we should warn the tasting rooms that we might have a group of 12-15.  I have been to tasting rooms where five cars pulled up at almost the same time and nothing went … Read more

Green Plow Coffee Roasters

Green Plow Coffee Roasters is the only locally owned coffeehouse in Redmond with an in-house  roastery!

Green Plow Coffee Roasters is located in the heart of downtown Redmond, Oregon serving as a living room for the community.  Go in, grab a cup of their house roasted coffee, and talk with friends, old and new.

Green Plow roasts coffee fresh in our shop on a Probat L12. As Volkswagen owners, we appreciate its simple German engineering.  It’s important to us to find coffees that not only taste great, but that are ethically produced. We also look for coffees that have been grown with environmentally friendly methods. Watch here for updates!

After completing coursework at UC-Davis in 1968, Erath relocated his family from California to … Read more

Guapo Comics and Coffee

I have a special place in my heart for this location.  In the 90’s I owned a comic book store and know what it is all about.  When I first saw this place I thought it was such a great idea.  The comics and coffee are owned separately sharing one space.  I love the idea. … Read more

Red Square Cafe

Red Square Cafe is a cool little place, much like a lot of the spots I find on Belmont. They serve Stumptown Coffee, Jasmine Pearl Tea, Broadway Bagels, and some gluten-free options from the Blue Moon. You don’t see a lot of internet cafe’s but they can come in handy. They have about five computers … Read more

Cloudline 2007

The 2007 Cloudline Pinot Noir – On the nose, there is an immediate burst of bright, fresh red fruits, including strawberries and raspberry, followed by an earthy quality.  On the palate, the wine has a fine texture, soft tannins, good acidity and a strong core of fruit. A long, dry, relatively mild summer left Oregon … Read more
