Vancouverture

I was at the Saturday market last Sunday (that always sounds strange) and I came across Vancouverture.  They take wine barrels and repurpose them.  Above is a serving platter made from a wine barrel. You can freeze the wood platter and it will stay cold for 90 minutes. They also make tea light holders, wine carriers, elegant wine racks, not-so -lazy susans (poor Susan) that can hold 500 lbs, and other really nice things.

So drop by The Portland Saturday Market, on a Sunday (or Saturday), to check out the guy from Vancouver selling nifty items made from wine barrels.
