Last month I met with the winner of our book giveaway at Blue Moon Coffee. It was great that a reader helped me find a great new coffee shop. I was experimenting with gluten free eating at the time. I lucked out and they actually make gluten free products that are good. Red Square Cafe, an earlier post on Pouregon, is one of their pasty customers.
Nicole and Cory bought Blue Moon in September of 2009 and it seems to be going well. I have visited many coffee shops and this is one of them that always seems to have people coming through. When I was meeting with the winner around 10am I saw people streaming in and out for an hour while I visited. When I came back to take pictures around four they still had people coming in and out. They just recently did some renovations and the place looks fantastic.
We strive to make a place where you can come and relax and get a quality coffee and a scratch made pastry. We use only the best local products in our coffee. Stumptown roasts our coffee, our tea comes from the magicians at The Jasmine Pearl. Our chocolate is from the masterminds of Holy Kakow. All of our pastries are made fresh daily, either in house or brought in from Kettleman Bagels, but make sure to come in early because once they are gone, they’re gone!
