Old Market Pub

Old Market Pub wins for best website name I have seen in a while, DrinkBeerHere.com.  This bar is huge, just like their list of Handcrafted Ales.  This place is a case of being on a street that you travel to get somewhere else.  I have driven by for years but never stopped but whenever I went by the parking lot was full.

I had lunch with some friends a few weeks ago and was able to snap some pictures.  We all loved our food and the beers were a hit though I can’t remember what was ordered.  Here’s their list of handcrafted ales.

Mr. Toad’s Wild Red Ale
Description: Made with 5 different malts and 3 varieties of hops, this is our best seller by far! Featured at the Oregon Brewer’s Festival July 27-29, 2001

Multnomah Village Golden Ale
Description: Our incredibly crisp, clear golden ale. Dry hopped in the keg with a huge bag of Oregon Hallertauer hops!

Great White Wheat
Description: Our semi-cloudy weizen (wheat) ale. Even flavors make this more popular than that other notorious weizen in town!

Old Granny Smith
Description: Green Apple Ale A crisp golden flavored with Granny Smith Apples. The runaway best seller among 72 beers at the 1996 Oregon Brewer’s Festival!
