Hall of Records at 3342 SE Belmont St. is a new record store and bar that pours only local drafts! Every Tuesday is Pint Nite! where all drafts are $3 from 7PM – 12AM. DJ starts at 8PM.
This reminds me of Guapo Comics and Coffee where people with two different passions form a great business.
From the blog – “Justin is a vinyl collector and has been in the music business practically his whole life and I have 8 years in the restaurant and bar business and a few years in entertainment under my belt. So we decided to combine our two passions, his for music and mine for owning my own bar and create the Hall of Records.”
On tap now:
Natian Honey Red (Portland)
Klamath Basin 8 Second Ale (Klamath Falls)
Laurelwood Treehugger Porter (Portland)
Upright #6 – Rye Beer (Portland)
Terminal Gravity IPA (Enterprise)
Yelp! has five star reviews though it just opened in August.
Lorena G. – I love Hall of Records! I always get a really good vibe when I’m there, the drinks are cheap/fair price and microbrews/local and a good selection, the music is fabulous, and the employees and owners are the best!
It’s the most brilliant idea–bar meets record shop. On top of that, the owners are both living out life dreams! One always wanted to open a bar, the other a record store. Boom! Half the rent, twice the awesomeness.
Steve H. – all day happy hour on sundays. a butt load of fun tunes. great service.
Jessica B. – What a lovely place to spend your time. Hall of Records is a cozy little haven. I expect it to be the happy hour place for my girlfriends and I this coming winter. Great music.
