The Green Dragon is host every Friday’s to Beer and Blog where bloggers help bloggers over beer. I had a chance to meet a few people including the founder of Beer and Blog, Justin Kistner. Everyone had their laptops out, beer in their hands, and lots of laughing.
The Green Dragon is a converted warehouse with high ceilings, black concrete bar, and large garage doors that must make that place awesome when the sun comes down. Though it is a large space, parts of it are chopped up a bit giving great places for large groups and still having a spot for just two people to grab and beer and talk.
Surprisingly, for having a techy thing like Beer and Blog, as well as debuting Gigabit IPA, which is part of Portland’s attempt to bring Google’s experimental network here, the Green Dragon doesn’t have a website or a Facebook page.
You can come and try some obscure beers or come down to get help with your blog on Friday’s.
