“Don’t miss nationally known Jimmy Mak’s jazz club”
– USA Today
I will admit that I am not a huge Jazz fan. As you can tell from the photo above it is a gorgeous place and that alone may draw me in. Jimmy Mak’s can be packed so dinner reservations are always recommended to guarantee seating for weekend shows, and special events.
Here is a small taste of the menu:
Dolmathes – $9
Delicious seasoned ground lamb and rice rolled into tender grape leaves.
Filet Mignon – $29
This most tender cut of steak is prepared traditionally, wrapped in bacon, and served with an apple-honey steak sauce. Accompanied by a kasseri cheese-potato gratin and seasonal house vegetables, this delicious steak is not prepared above medium.
Braised Lamb Shank- $24
A generous bone-in lamb shank is slow braised to tender perfection in a burgundy reduction, served with whipped garlic potatoes and sauteed collard greens.
The beer and wine menu is large and here are the Oregon drinks.
Widmer Hefeweizen- $4.75
Bridgeport IPA- $4.75
Bridgeport Specialty Craft Series- $4.75
Deschutes Mirror Pond Pale Ale- $4.75
Argyle Brut Willamette Valley- $47
Blue Pirate Willamette Valley Pinot Gris – $9/ $36
Van Duzer Rose, Willamette Valley- $9/$36
Argyle Chardonnay, Willamette Valley- $40
