Melina Tomson from Salem brought this charity event to my attention. As a Realtor I love the idea of helping Habitat for Humanity. Adding wine is even better. From their website:
All are welcome to join us at the annual Hearts & Hammers Gala to be held Saturday, February 26 at 6 pm in the Estate Room at Willamette Valley Vineyards (8800 Enchanted Way SE Turner, OR).
Enjoy refreshments, hors d’oeuvres, catered dinner and live and silent auctions to support the work of Habitat for Humanity in our community. All money raised during the event will go towards building more homes for hardworking families in need.
Tickets are $45 each and include refreshments, hors d’oeuvres and a catered dinner. If you can’t make the Gala you can help out by donating wine for evening. If you live in Salem Melina has offered to pick up the wine for you. If you live outside that area we might be able to figure something out.
